Rachamim – The Central Pillar and the Sefirah of Mediation between Opposites Tuesday, Jan 26 2016

The “original” G.D. utilized the Hebrew meaning of certain “Kabbalistic” terms such as mercy, severity, and compassion. These terms carry a much broader meaning in Hebrew than the English words they are frequently translated into. In many contemporary WMT circles the terms are narrowly defined as if they were related 1:1 to specific English and Western terms. For this reason it is important to examine the incorrect use of these terms and their broader sense when applied Kabbalistically. Much of the modern narrative stems from ego-based desires of certain individuals to place a very specific meaning on these terms and is often utilized to unfairly criticize others in an attempt to assert moral superiority over those impugned as “less enlightened” by said critics. Hebrew is a pregnant language, which is quite different than the more specific and descriptive Western languages.

The original G.D. under Westcott and Mathers had a much better grasp of Hebrew, and had legitimate connections to Kabbalistic and Hassidic teachings than many of the later groups stemming from them. Some of these later groups applied meanings derived almost entirely from Exoteric Protestant-Anglican Theology and inaccurately redefined the terms taking them out of their original Kabbalistic context. An even newer, pernicious, and far more inaccurate alteration of said terminology can be seen at present in the use of “Politically Correctness” or “Critical Theory” in WMT circles-  Critical Theory is a construct which incorporates and combines subtly or overtly harsh and condemning rhetoric with an inaccurate and biased view of Traditional Western Society and Culture utilizing false narratives, constant criticism, and derision of Western traditions, mores, and folkways by cherry-picking the negative aspects of Western History and unfairly comparing them to the best parts of other non-western Traditions and their Histories. Critical Theory is very much akin to invocation and evocation to tangible manifestation of Qliphotic forces. It  developed out of the Frankfort School of Cultural Marxism. Cultural Marxism is synonymous with Critical Theory and Political Correctness.

The 3 Pillars are divided into Mercy (or “Love” i.e. Chesed), Severity (or “Strength” i.e. Geburah), and Compassion (Rachamim). However, note that Rachamim is a “plural” term and is more intensely emotional. It relates strongly to and has derivation from “bowels” or “womb”. This is also notable in Rosenroth’s Latin, which by the way is quite impressive in the manner he utilizes terms with a broader meaning to communicate a more accurate sense of the Hebrew than is presently apparent in modern circles using English in a very narrow and specific manner.

For example in the following Bible verse note the varied ways “Rachamim” is translated: “And Joseph made haste; for ‘his bowels did yearn’ (Rachamim) upon his brother: and he sought where to weep; and he entered into his chamber, and wept there.” – KJV (Genesis 43:30)… or in the NASB version Rachamim in the same verse is translated “deeply stirred” or in the MEV “deeply moved”. As can readily be seen in the broader interpretive context there is a strong(er) emotional component to the term Rachamim. Rachamim is always used in the plural because it is the Central Pillar as well as the Central Sefirah Tifaret, and can incorporate Chesed or/and Geburah. Some comparisons of the range of interpretation of the term “Rachamim” in this verse can be found here: https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Genesis%2043%3A30

To place the term Rachamim in perspective, one could consider the case of a toddler that is incorrigible about running into a busy thoroughfare while playing. The Parent who only applies Chesed, which is the ever-flow of love in the form of an all-accepting or all-forgiving grace-mercy or “Mother-Love” without restraint of its flow via Geburah may very well end up with a dead or injured child. Is this “Compassionate”? Heck no!… its outright dangerous and NOT in the best interest of the child! The parent that actually incorporates Geburah in its emotional “Pachad” aspect via instilling a species of “fearful-awe” by verbally scolding or even paddling (with some emotional intent i.e. “hollering”) the toddler’s little behind is being far more “Compassionate” than the excessively “Merciful” and more “Politically Correct” Parent.  And the child will be far safer. This is the “equilibrium of the balance” which allows the World to exist. And this child is a “World,” so to speak.

In the human body, there are likewise 3 sets of influences. This relates to the World of Assiah (Action) and thus these influences consist of 3 sets of physical “Activities”. There is Anabolism (building-up), Catabolism (tearing-down), and Homeostasis (equilibrium). If either Anabolism or Catabolism proceed unchecked, the inevitable result is death. Yet, Homeostasis (equilibrium) is not achieved by a perfect constant balance between the Opposites but by a see-saw action between the two extremes. Cancer is unchecked Anabolism. Wasting syndromes are unchecked Catabolism. The human body is almost entirely regenerated in 7 years time which allows life to continue on. There are stages where old cells are torn down and new cells built up. There is a constant fluctuation between the opposites or life would not continue, nor could it. These things should be kept to mind when discussing the related Kabbalistic terms.

This is the crux of Sabbatianism which is most definitely present in the G.D. paradigm. (Side Note: There is a common misperception that Rosenroth was not influenced by Sabbatianism. Rosenroth was directly involved with a number of Sabbatian Kabbalists and his mentor was one of the primary European Christian Millenarists reporting on Sabbatian events in the Holy Land and Ottoman Empire) Also noting that the G.D. first mentioned itself as a continuation of Dr Falk’s z”l circle. R. Falk z”l was impugned by R. Emden (may his memory be blotted out!) in his accusations against Sabbatians and Falk z”l left a number of Hebrew R.C. documents in Algiers which came into the possession of the Rainsford-Bacstrom-Sibley circle who were attempting to install the Asiatic Rite in England. Westcott not only emphasized the importance of R. Falk z”l (as did K.R.H. MacKenzie) but is one of the few Esotericists in his time to give due credit to Shabtai Tzvi himself. Since the materials of Bacstrom, Rainsford et al flowed into the Mackenzie-Hockley-Irwin-Holland circle and Francis Barrett (also associated with Hockley) had involvement with R. Falk z”l, it is praiseworthy that Sabbatianism is being explored in some modern G.D. circles. That being said, it should be noted that “Compassion” in a Kabbalistic and original G.D. sense may not be identical with the use of the term in contemporary circles, which hold to a rather modern and more Politically Correct interpretation.

Introductory Prayer from Pri Etz Hadar Monday, Jan 25 2016

Please G‑d who makes [Asiya], forms [Yetzira], creates [Beriya], and emanates [Atzilut] supernal worlds according to their form and design created on the earth below. “You made them all with wisdom(Psalms 104). The supernal above and the lower below join in the tent as one. You have made trees and grasses grow from the earth according to the supernal patterns and designs, so that human beings can gain chochma and bina through them, and thus to grasp the hidden. You have set over the trees and grasses holy angels that cause them to grow and prosper. And you caused flow and the power of your supernal qualities to pour upon them. “The fruit yielded a harvest“; (Psalms 107:37) “every fruit tree producing fruit according to its kind“. (Gen 1:11) “The earth is satisfied from the fruit of Your work” (Psalms 104:13) so that one may “eat of its fruit and be satisfied by its bounty” (Jeremiah 2:7). From every living soul is enlivened from the spiritual power that resides in the fruit, from the fruit of the mouth of Your holy angels who guard its fruit. “From me your fruit is found” (Hosea 14:9) the reward of the fruit of the womb. “Its fruit is food and its leaves a source of healing.” (Ezekiel 47:12)

On this day, the beginning of Your deeds concerning blossoming and renewal, ” a man shall bring his fruit(Song of Songs 8:11)producing fruit after its kind.” (Genesis 1:11) So will be fulfilled the days of blossoming for the fruit of the supernal Tree, “the Tree of Life which is in the middle of the Garden of Eden(Gen. 2:3) which produces fruit above.

May it be Your Will, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our forefathers, in the merit of eating the fruit we are now eating and blessing, while meditating on the secret of their supernal roots upon which they depend, that You will abundantly bestow on the fruit trees Your grace, blessing, and favor. May the angels appointed over them also be filled with the powerful flow of their glory, causing them to sprout and to grow once again, from the beginning to the end of the year, for good and blessing, for good life and peace.

Fulfil Your promise given to Malachi, Your seer, “And I will banish the devourer from among you and he will not destroy the fruit of your earth and the vine of your field and will not miscarry, says the L-rd of Hosts.” (Malachi 3:11) Look down from Your sacred dwelling place in heaven and bless this year for good and blessing. “You will make him a source of blessings forever, you will cause him to rejoice in the joy of Your face.” (Psalms 21:7) “And the earth will bestow its harvest and the tree of the field will yield its fruit.” (Lev. 26:4) The blessing of goodness will come upon them, that its fruits will be blessed within us. Whether much or little one eats, the health of the body will also be blessed. “There Hashem commanded blessing, eternal life.” (Psalms 133:3) May the glorious majesty of blessings made when eating these fruits illuminate the source of blessings–the Righteous one–the life of the worlds, and let the rainbow appear joyful and proud in its colors. May flow, favor, and compassion be bestowed upon us to pardon and forgive the iniquities and sins we have committed and sinned. We violated the Covenant and damaged the fruit of the Righteous, the life of the worlds, and impeded the flow. We caused the rains of his beneficence to be withheld, so that their sources were harmed. May things return to their former strength, as it says “let His bow remain taut.” (Gen. 49:24)For you G‑d, bless the righteous, favor surrounds him like a shield.” (Psalms 5:13)

May all the holy sparks that were scattered by us or by our forefathers, or by Adam who sinned with the fruit of The Tree, now be collected into the glorious power of the Tree of Life. May all evil be removed from them from the power of Your Great Name which emerges from the verse, “He has swallowed riches and shall vomit them up again. ” (Job 20:15) May everything return to its original strength and not be rejected, for only You G‑d gather the outcasts of Israel. (Psalms 147:2). Therefore, quickly cause to grow the shoot of David, Your servant, and raise up its might through Your salvation. The hand of G‑d is over the whole world.

“Instead of a briar, a cypress will arise; instead of the nettle, a myrtle will arise. And it will be a testimony for G‑d and an everlasting sign which will never be effaced.” (Isaiah 55:13) “Let abundant grain be in the land to the mountain top, let its fruit tremble like the Lebanon [cedars], and may the inhabitants of the city flourish like the grass of the earth.” (Psalms 72:6) “Then the trees of the field will rejoice,” (Psalms 96:12) and the tree of the field lift its branch and produce daily fruit. “And you shall take from the first of the fruit of the earth. (Deuteronomy 26:2) To bring first fruits before the altar of G‑d in praise and thankfulness to the L-rd, our G‑d. And there shall be much good for the house of Israel. “The wilderness and the arid land will be glad, and the desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose. It will blossom greatly and rejoice even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of G‑d, the splendor of our L-rd.” (Isaiah 35:1-2).

May this happen soon in our days! Amen!

Do this for the sake of Your Name!

Do this for the sake of Your right hand!

Do this for the sake of Your Torah!

“May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable before You G‑d, my rock and my redeemer” (Psalms 19:15). “May the pleasantness of the L-rd our G‑d be upon us, establish the work of our hands, the work of our hands establish. ” (Psalms 90:17)

Turning the other Cheek Thursday, Jan 14 2016

In the New Testament in the Gospels of Matthew (5:39) and Luke (6:29) we find Jesus suggesting “turn the other cheek.” It is debated by Biblical Scholars whether the suggestion to “turn the other cheek” is a pacifistic gesture or an act of resistance. In the opinion of those Venerable and Most Wise Masters who comprise the Body of the Great and Lasting Sanhedrin of our Organization the intended meaning is rather well encapsulated in the following diagram:

If Seeking Instruction within the Holy Company… Tuesday, Jan 12 2016

If seeking Instruction. You must perform these Rituals and record any details.

I am now limiting further students to those who perform the following in line with the Tradition and the Expression of the True Faith.

There are 7 Sisters and 7 Maidens, 12 Brothers and 2 Others…

One may Name 7 Sisters and 7 Maidens, as well as 12 Brothers and 2 Others…

But if you choose to have a Name, it will be randomly assigned.

Before you acknowledge any choice in this matter you must perform the following Strange Actions:

On an Islamic Holiday (or in communication with a Muslim, etc… just be creative) you must post something publicly on the Internet (or verbally say or write to this person) stating:

Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Eḥad

(Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One).

On a Christian Holiday (or in communication with a Christian, etc… just be creative) you must post something publicly on the Internet (or verbally say or write to this person) stating:

Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill Allah

(I bear witness that there is no G_d but G_d.)

followed by:

Wa ash-hadu ana Muhammad ar-rasullallah

(And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of G_d.).

On a Jewish Holiday (or in communication with a Jew, etc… just be creative) you must post something publicly on the Internet (or verbally say or write to this person) stating:

CREDO in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem, factorem caeli et terrae, visibilium omnium et invisibilium

(I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible).

(And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father; through Whom all things were made).

When this has been accomplished you should briefly isolate yourself and Light a candle then state:

“Baruch Ateh Adonai Eloheinu Melekh Ha’Olahm Mattir Isurim”

(Blessed art Thou, Oh Lord our G_d who permitteth the Forbidden)

At this point eat something you are ethically opposed to (if you choose, you may do so symbolically such as a vegan pork sausage, etc or mixing soy milk with meat, etc.)

This is the necessary purification prior to the following Ritual of choosing to have a Name of the Holy Company. (There may still be several steps to complete before receiving one’s Name depending on the circumstances of the Individual or Potential Lodge. Some may choose to pause before continuing on and should seek counsel with the Order before doing so.)

Take 28 Stones and line either side of a short path with them (14 to each side).

Robe yourself in a clean and holy garment.

And bear or wear a Cross of some type fastened to a long ribbon or string (long enough to trail behind you) and fasten two small pieces of wood (preferably shaped like “shoes”) to your shoes.

Walk through this line of Stones while loudly proclaiming:

“Forsa damus para verti, seihut grandi asser verti!!!”

(Give us the power of seeing him and the great fortune of serving him).

Use whatever language and pronunciation you prefer.

Now take the Cross into a secluded room and hang it from a nail in a bench or chair or symbolic equivalent.

And on the bench or chair place a candle to either side of the Cross hung from the nail.

Disrobe and kneel before the Cross with head bowed.

After a sufficient time (your call).

Take the Cross in your hand and bow to the four directions and kiss the Cross.

“For this I have gone to a Naked Place”.

Replace the Cross and allow yourself to reflect until the Candles burn out.

On the following day take 12 Coins of equal value and cast them to the ground. then tread upon them and leave them.

Take the two very small pieces of wood (preferably in “shoe” type shapes) and leave them out of doors for three days, then carry them in your pocket for three days. Set them aside on the Seventh.

Then you may receive a Name from the Holy Company… you have only discuss your results and ask. Until such time as I retreat in Solitude to my concealment in that Tower of Strength called Migdal Oz.

The Fallen Sparks Monday, Jan 11 2016

There were 288 Sparks which fell and these may be derived in a variety of manners.

Since there occurred a species of fall in all but the Highest of Sefirot. Each Sefirah is itself a World of 32 Paths. And thus, 9 Sefiroth x 32 Sparks = 288 Sparks that Fell.

In each categorization of the Great Name, there are also found 72 Sparks. Since there are 4 species of this Name, 4 Names x 72 Sparks = 288 Sparks that Fell.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God hovered above the face of the waters.”

   – Genesis (Bereshit) I: 1-2

In the above excerpt from the Torah, the term for ‘hovered’ or ‘was hovering’ is merachefet (MRChPhTh). The letters of this term can be transposed or recombined (a form of ‘Temurah’) into two terms. The first term is spelled Mem-Tav (Meit) and means “died”. The second term is R-Ph-Ch denoting the number 288 (Resh [200] + Peh [80] + Cheth [8]). Thus we learn from Our Teacher, the ARIZAL, in Sefer Likutim; the “Death of the Kings of Edom” is analogous to the “Shattering of the Vessels,” which caused the fall of the 288 Sparks of the Kings of Edom and from which the World of Emendation has been reconstructed from the residua of the Fallen Kings.
